National Stadium, Friday, April 29, 2016 —Singapore Sports School (SSP) claimed the gold medal in style, as they broke a 13-year record at the 57th National Schools Track and Field Championships. Finishing the B Division 4x400m event in 3 minutes 26.16 seconds.

The previous electronically-timed record for the event stood at 03:26.55s, set in 2003 by Raffles Institution.

Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) (ACSI) came in second, completing the four-part race in 03:28.43s. Hwa Chong Institution (HCI) finished third, clocking 03:33.64s.
